Happy Happy Birthday Little Man

It is so crazy how, when your kids are little, it feels like they will be that way forever...and then the next day they are 3....the age of curiosity and mischief, constant jibber-jabbering, many questions and opinions, and with out doubt one of the funnest ages. Jackson is a crack-up. He loves to be outside, bugging his sister and brother, loving dad, Cheetos and BIG trucks. For his big day, he insisted he have a big monster truck cake (orange) and a bow and arrow just like dads (plastic obviously). He is his dads # 1 fan, and cannot wait to be his right-hand-man when he is old enough to hunt. We are positive he knows what a stinker he is, but even more so that we love it...we know he will not be three forever....so for now, stinker and mischief are good things.

A Few Changes.....

Thought it might be time to blog a few changes that have happened around our house....

Our lovely little lady decided it was time for a new "do"-just the bangs...she is convinced that her hair grows at least an inch every day, and by cutting it would officially stop the growth process forever. Tooth # 9 just made its way under the pillow (poor girl has a mouth full of holes) :)....but loves it. She is almost finished with the second grade, and is ready for high school....

After some intense wiggling and tugging.... Chan lost his first tooth, and is thrilled to be able to shoot water out of it, and talk with a lisp :). He has grown 2 inches the past month, and appears way too big for a kindergartener. He loves reading and sounding out letters...everywhere, and truly believes he is smarter than his sister.

Finally, we traded our baby in for this cute little boy....we love his 33 different faces, a giggle that screams tickle me more, and the opportunity to watch him develop his own personality. He has decided to mimic everything he sees (half the time it is an animal of choice). He is hysterical to have a conversation with, and is too much fun....
