One year older and wiser???
Just toss another candle on the cake... It seems like I add more candles to the cake and lose more brain cells, faster than gas prices go up...I had requested to nix the candle idea, but that ruins all the fun right?? And besides the heat that came from that cake kept are apartment about 2-3 degrees warmer, and the smoke didn't set the alarms off :0)!  I am struggling with the fact that this is my last year in my 20's! However they say 30 is the greatest time in life...whatever... Regardless it, was a great day, Dave took me out on a REAL date, the first one since we have moved!! We ate at the best Thai restaurant in the nation...for those of you coming to visit us we are going there!! I apologize to those who have previously partaken of my annual Hawaiian dream cake, and weren't here...it was really different and we missed you. We have a sweet little lady named Mary who lives across the hall, (yes I adopt one wherever we go) and she was our guest of honor. Chan was so excited to eat cake, that he ate too much and was a little on the sick side....and my sweet little miss Maddie made me one of her creations, which was my favorite present....she makes me smile...in fact they all do. The reality is, yes I am one year older but I have so so much to be thankful for!

Happy Birthday Jen! I know what you mean- I will be 30 in a few months and it freaks me out. I told Warren that I want Botox for my b-day present and in one week I will be married to a forty year old.( now that is kind of freaky and a little sexy because I love my older man lol)! The thing that is so cool is when you really don't care how old you are getting because you are so content with your life at that moment. You do have so much to be thankful for and you have so much to look forward to. I hope you had a great day, you totally deserve it!
