Dave is happily one year older...and really feeling the stress of school. I think it is a bit more than any of us were prepared for, but he is the most dedicated and motivated person that I know, and I am confident that he will make it through. I got brave and attempted to make his favorite Japanese dish, from his mission....not the same, but not too bad. He really missed hunting and camping this year, so the kids thought it would be just great to make him a campfire cake...way fun. You are truly the greatest of them all and we love you!
Chan's First Day of Preschool
This kid the funniest...he has been asking me since July when school will start. He is disappointed that he is not in Kindergarten yet, but is so excited to be going with 5 of his friends, wearing his COOL backpack with a "buckle", making new friends, and to start learning. He can write his first and last name, is reading a few words, and his favorite word to spell is "jet" :o). Can't wait to see how much he will grow this year.
Not sure why, but this pic reminds me of little bro #2, love it....

Okay so I love the cake. Dang you are good. Wish I could have had a little bite but it sounds lke you had a good time. Chan is getting so big I love his cool backpack and really the buckle just makes the bag!! Oh and a little side note love the pillow on your couch. Oh and Dave your gift is coming.
