Christmas and a Few Birthdays

We love Christmas, and celebrating our kids birthdays...except for every other year when it falls on a friend party...there is much craziness, tons of planning and gobs of cake and sugar. The upside, there are small requests for sweets for a few days, and we are done partying until July...

Caution: Loads of pictures ahead...thats what happens when you don't ever blog...


Chandler at age 7: Loves to build, Mario (obviously), playing the Wii, riding his bike, very obedient and loves being a mommas boy. He is so happy knowing that is is the smartest 1st grader in the school :), and still has an undying love for Lightening Macqueen, regardless of what anybody says.
Current wishes: to go to Disneyland every other month, and to own every cars lego ever made.

The great thing about having a Mario party, is that there are so many fun ideas...too many. His cake was our first completely fondant cake..it took a "few" minutes, but was completely worth it....

Madison at age 9: Very creative, fun, happy, with a little mischievousness mixed in there. So excited about being in third grade, with her first boy teacher ever...Loves dance, music, playing violin and piano, girl scouts, friends and soccer.

It is hard to believe that she is nine...she has permission to stop growing now..

Disney on Ice..we keep thinking Maddie has grown out of the princess phase..nope. All she wanted was to see them on ice. Skating it is....
