Dave and I celebrated number 12 exactly the way he loves...watching his favorite team, row 13!! The score...not what we hoped for, but a great game. Its weird when you can say you have been married a dozen years! Happy Anniversary you crazy, awesome Steelers fan!

Happy Birthday Little Man!!

Like it or not, our little guy is now 4. Just when we think he could not be any more fun....he proves us wrong. The boy is crazy about ramen noodles and toaster waffles, big trucks, his dad, guns, bow and arrows, swimming, playing with his best buds and being a huge bright spot in our lives. Our favorite thing he says is "I love you to the moon."  He is very independent, full of energy mixed with a little mischief, and is totally obsessed with anything that has to do with pirates. He talked about his birthday for about 5 or 6 months, and was so excited the day it finally came. He was really lucky this year and had two parties... two parties plus two piƱatas equal one happy 4 year old. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special for our boy!!

And finally...Madison and her new-do. She has been growing her hair out to donate it for the past two years. Her and best bud Kadee were much better sports than the mom :). So proud of you both.DSC_0145

Christmas and a Few Birthdays

We love Christmas, and celebrating our kids birthdays...except for every other year when it falls on a friend party...there is much craziness, tons of planning and gobs of cake and sugar. The upside, there are small requests for sweets for a few days, and we are done partying until July...

Caution: Loads of pictures ahead...thats what happens when you don't ever blog...

Chandler at age 7: Loves to build, Mario (obviously), playing the Wii, riding his bike, very obedient and loves being a mommas boy. He is so happy knowing that is is the smartest 1st grader in the school :), and still has an undying love for Lightening Macqueen, regardless of what anybody says.
Current wishes: to go to Disneyland every other month, and to own every cars lego ever made.

The great thing about having a Mario party, is that there are so many fun ideas...too many. His cake was our first completely fondant cake..it took a "few" minutes, but was completely worth it....

Madison at age 9: Very creative, fun, happy, with a little mischievousness mixed in there. So excited about being in third grade, with her first boy teacher ever...Loves dance, music, playing violin and piano, girl scouts, friends and soccer.

It is hard to believe that she is nine...she has permission to stop growing now..

Much To Celebrate

After many long years of schooling, constant studying, a lot of student loans, headaches, frustrations, a few wrinkles, and many lessons learned, our dad has finally passed the 21st grade (Madison).
We are so thankful to all who came and helped us celebrate this huge accomplishment for Dave. We enjoyed every minute, and are grateful for you all, and for your love and support. Our hats go off to you schmoochums, you earned it......

In the midst of all the craziness...our three year old felt a little neglected, and decided to make his own little mischief, in moms mascara...he was very careful to not get any on his clothes...
