Dave's Birthday, and Chan's First Day of School

Dave is happily one year older...and really feeling the stress of school. I think it is a bit more than any of us were prepared for, but he is the most dedicated and motivated person that I know, and I am confident that he will make it through. I got brave and attempted to make his favorite Japanese dish, from his mission....not the same, but not too bad. He really missed hunting and camping this year, so the kids thought it would be just great to make him a campfire cake...way fun. You are truly the greatest of them all and we love you!

Chan's First Day of Preschool
This kid the funniest...he has been asking me since July when school will start. He is disappointed that he is not in Kindergarten yet, but is so excited to be going with 5 of his friends, wearing his COOL backpack with a "buckle", making new friends, and to start learning. He can write his first and last name, is reading a few words, and his favorite word to spell is "jet" :o). Can't wait to see how much he will grow this year.

Strasburg Children's Clothing

Our friend Melia who is an incredible photographer, has recently become the official photographer for Strasburg, which is a high-end clothing store for children, in the King of Prussia Mall. Maddie and Jackson had the opportunity along with some other kids to be photographed in their clothing, and were chosen to advertise in their store. Their clothes are adorable, but a little pricey, so its great they get to wear them for a couple of hours....Had a proud mommy moment, and thought I would share...

Madison

Jackson

There she is! She was so thrilled when she saw herself, she asked if she would have her own website called Maddie.com....so cute, (probably not):0)

She enjoyed practicing her PR skills, passing out fliers for the store for about an hour, and was done. She loved this dress because it looks like the American Girls dolls. This has been a lot of fun.

First Day of First Grade

Oh my, how I never thought I would be one of those moms who said " it seems like just yesterday..." So very hard to believe Maddie is officially in the first grade! Got a little emotional when she got onto the bus...later, decided that I could definitely get used to the idea of downsizing to two for the day! She is growing to be quite the little lady, with BIG ideas and a GIGANTIC imagination....she is our entertainment, and we are looking forward to how much she will grow and change this year.
